IRPET Program 2015
IRPET has recently and will focus, by means of 2015 Program’s goals, on considerations unavoidably influenced by the problems the region has been facing. The long recession, exacerbated by a previous extended period of low growth, entailed a loss of competitiveness in the whole country – and consequently in Tuscany. This requires an even stronger commitment to the study and analysis of economic policies, a goal which was in fact partly established already in the 2014 Program. In recent years, the Institute’s thinking has developed through various stages, which provided a more extensive knowledge of the regional economy even before the recent economic crisis. IRPET Program for 2015 is but the natural sequel to of this line of thought, that will involve all the various components of the Institute.
